Esperanza Spalding Shares 2022 Summer Tour Dates
Esperanza Spalding has announced a set of tour dates for July that will see her collaborating with choreographer, dancer, and director Antonio Brown. Spread across the U.S., the concerts will pull from the last few of her albums like 12 Little Spells and Songwrights Apothecary Lab.
“These performances will be a culminating share of music-dance possibilities I’ve been steadily researching, discipling around, and co-exploring with elders, musicians and dancers during the Spring,” she shares. We are so so so excited to offer what’s come forth from these explorations and co-creations!”
In addition to four dates in North Carolina, Oregon, California, and Illinois will focus on that collaboration, Spalding will be performing at the Newport Jazz Festival on July 30th in duo with Leo Genovese.
