REO Brothers: Come Together / Don’t Let Me Down

The REO Brothers just dropped another incredible video featuring a combo of tunes by The Beatles.

Ralph Otic and the brothers start off with “Come Together” before transitioning to “Don’t Let Me Down”.

They shared more of their back story with this video, which is inspiring:

“We are the REO Brothers from Tacloban City, Philippines. We formed our band last 2009. We showcase and play music of the 6O’s especially of The Beatles. We were victims and survivors of Super Typhoon Haiyan last 2013. Though it was a tragic event in our family’s lives, it opened many doors of opportunities for us as a band. Because of our love for the craft of music, our repertoire covers of The Beatles have lead us to perform at benefit shows and started to gain more gigs as well. Great things were unfolding before us and we were breaking new grounds beyond our wildest dreams. This enabled us to slowly pick up the “almost shattered” pieces of our lives after the debacle and faced on life with more resilience and confidence. Because of The Beatles, we were able to rebuild our family’s lives and rise up more with zest for living while doing the thing we love most: To perform and be an inspiration to others.”

  1. Those guys are great!

  2. William Morrow

Not the same, but in many ways just as good. I could listen to them all day.
