Trace Elliot Announces Pro Series 4×10 and 2×12 Cabinets

Trace Elliot has launched the Pro Series 4×10 and 2×12 cabinets, marking a return to large venue options. The models are a follow-up to their new 1200-watt TE-1200 bass amp head.
Both are built with reinforced 15mm poplar plywood construction covered in a weather-resistant two-stage epoxy coating. The 4×10 is fitted with custom 10-inch neodymium drivers as well as a HF compression tweeter. Their 2×12 has a different design concept.
“Offering thunderous lows to crisp, intelligent highs, the Trace Pro 2×12 cabinet pairs one ultra high-end coaxial 12-inch driver with a 12-inch woofer-only complement,” the company explains. “This highly capable unit can handle the complete sonic palette of the bass guitar. A dual-plane baffle with the coaxial driver is mounted on the slanted portion for superior HF (high-frequency) dispersion.”
Both cabinets are rated at 1,000 watts at 8 ohms. They each have dual parallel Neutrik Speakon 1/4-inch combo input jacks.
The Trace Elliot Pro Series 4×10 and 2×12 will be available this fall for $1,599.99 each.
