David Sutkin & Adrian Maruszczyk: Wish You Were Here
After a sweet version of “Kashmir,” David Sutkin and Adrian Maruszczyk have teamed up again to recreate a classic song with dual basses. This time they cover Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” with Sutkin covering the bass and harmony while Maruszczyk chimes in with the solo guitar lines.
Maruszczyk’s children Lukas Kuban and Michelle Kuban fill the rest out on percussion and vocals. Together they bring out the soulfulness of the song in a stripped back arrangement that showcases how much can be done on a bass.
