David Levy: Bass Playthrough of Unprocessed’s “Dinner”
We’re featuring another bass playthrough from Unprocessed bassist David Levy, who previously wowed us with “Orange Grove.” This time he’s showing how it’s done for “Dinner” from their latest album, Gold.
The song begins with some heavy eighth notes before Levy hops on a synthesizer for a mellow section. The real fireworks begin at the 1:58 mark, during which he doubles some insane lines with the guitar.
Of course, his tone is on point for the whole track.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more.
