Our good friend Rob Waxman shared this video on Facebook yesterday, and I was mesmerized by the performance.

Barend Tromp pays tribute to Jeff Beck in this clip, playing “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers” on 6-string fretless bass.

“I wanted to emulate every nuance of Jeff’s playing on ‘Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers’ in detail on my fretless 6-string bass. The solo (at 2:42) is my own interpretation. I couldn’t resist though to pick up my guitar at the end of the song (at 4:39),” Barend shared. “Jeff, you will be missed!”
