We first featured The First Circle in September 2022, with their excellent cover of Pat Metheny Group’s “Last Train Home.”

Here they are again with a cover of the Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays composition of the same name.

Benjamin Lavoie-Doyon masterfully handles the double bass part on the song, which is one of my favorites from PMG’s catalog.
