Almost Nailed It: Take Ω (Living Room Session)

No Treble reader Christian Kussmann sent this video his trio, Almost Nailed It, recorded. Initially, they didn’t intend to release the video, but I’m glad they did in the end.

“[We] constantly explore space in music. Reduction as a medium of choice to create dense atmosphere and room for improvisation,” Christian shared. “We recorded this song in the living room of our drummer. Initially planned as a video-only session, we recorded the music for our own archive, and we were actually very happy with how the session turned out. No edits, music ‘as is.’ That aligns very well with our concept.”

I’ll definitely be looking for more from this trio in the future.
