Nicole Row To Join Incubus for Remainder of 2023

Back in January, Incubus bassist Ben Kenney revealed that he had a brain tumor removed and would be sitting out for some shows to recover. Tal Wilkenfeld sat in to cover for the band’s gigs in January and February. Now Incubus has announced a second bassist that will fill in for the rest of 2023 as Kenney continues to recuperate.

“We are excited to announce that our good friend Nicole Row will be filling in on bass for the remainder of our 2023 tour dates!” They wrote. “As Ben continues to recover from his surgery, we welcome Nicole to the band and look forward to playing shows with her this year! We’re currently in rehearsals for the upcoming tour and can’t wait to get back out on the road to see everyone this summer! <3”

Row was most recently a member of Panic! At the Disco, but has a serious résumé working for artists including Miley Cyrus, Fat Joe, Dallas Austin, Remy Ma, and more. The bassist shared her own announcement, saying she is grateful to sit in for Kenney.

“It’s an honor to play music with such an iconic band and a wonderful group of people,” she wrote.

Incubus will be on the road in the U.S. throughout May before heading to Europe in June. In July, they’ll be Stateside again with Badflower and Paris Jackson. Their last date of the year is currently slated for October 6th at the Hollywood Bowl.
