Walter Gervers Rejoins Foals
After spending some time as a trio, Foals has announced they are a quartet once again as founding bassist Walter Gervers has rejoined the band. Gervers had left their ranks in 2018 on amicable terms.
“After 6 years in the alpine wilderness guess who’s back in the band?!! Walter is back & better than ever,” frontman Yannis Philippakis wrote on Instagram. “Rejoining for all the coming shows & into the future. Get ready, the boys are back in business.”
Gervers is already on the road with the group for their sold-out shows at intimate venues across the UK. Next, they’ll be heading to Mexico before a handful of European dates. The summer will see them crossing North America as support for Paramore.
