Royal Blood Announces North American Fall Tour
Royal Blood has announced they’ll return to North America for a fall tour. The English rock duo of drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr will split the run into two legs, the first of which will be hot on the heels of their new album, Back to the Water Below, due out September 8th.
They’ll kick things off on September 16th at the Sea. Hear. Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey and focus on the East Coast and Midwest into the beginning of October. After a set of European dates, they’ll resume on November 9th at The Wiltern in Los Angeles to cover the West Coast and South. The final tour date is set for November 27th in San Diego, California.
Back To The Water Below marks the band’s fourth full-length album. The lead single, “Mountains at Midnight”, showcases Kerr’s enormous wall of sound in what has been called a “fresh take on the old school Royal Blood prototype.”
