Joe Hubbard: Fingers of Fury: Mastering Finger Independence for Bass Guitar

Bassist and educator Joe Hubbard has released a new book to train you into technical excellence. Fingers of Fury: Mastering Finger Independence for Bass Guitar is a digital book available now through his website.

“’Fingers of Fury’ presents a systematic journey into the realm of bass guitar technique,” a press release explains. “The book covers an array of topics from left and right-hand coordination, left-hand finger permutations, right-hand fingering protocol, to efficient octave playing and prevention of injuries, offering a comprehensive manual for bass guitar players of all levels. Whether a novice seeking a guiding hand, a seasoned professional yearning for that extra edge, or any level in between, ‘Fingers of Fury’ aims to revolutionize bass-playing abilities.”

Hubbard, who has contributed some fantastic lessons to No Treble, has played and recorded with artists like Wayne Krantz, Dennis Chambers, Gary Numan, and more. You may also recognize some of his former students like Pino Palladino, Nick Beggs, Paul Turner, Francis Hylton, and Mike Mondesir.

Fingers of Fury: Mastering Finger Independence for Bass Guitar is available now on Hubbard’s website. It has a special introductory price of $33 until June 18th, when it will go up to $41.
