Darkglass Electronics Introduces the Microtubes X 900 Bass Amp

Darkglass Electronics has once again expanded its amp lineup with the Microtubes X 900. Following in the footsteps of the Microtubes 900 and Alpha·Omega 900, the new amp takes its preamp from the company’s X Series pedals and packages it with a Class D 900-watt amplifier.
The amp has a six-band graphic EQ and the distortion circuit from the pedal series.
“The X distortion circuit allows users to select exactly what frequencies they want to compress and saturate for the low and treble, respectively,” a press release explains. “It features MIDI for channel switching and muting programmability, impulse response cabinet simulation with up to three different storable virtual cabinets, auxiliary input, and headphone output – offering unmatched versatility and control, making it a true companion for touring, live gigs, the studio and more.”
The Darkglass Microtubes X 900 is available now for $1,299.
