Suicidal Tendencies Announces 40th Anniversary Tour Dates with Tye Trujillo
Four decades in, Suicidal Tendencies are still Cyco Punk after all these years. Now Mike Muir and the gang are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a tour that will hit the East Coast of the U.S. and Canada before heading to the West Coast for some shows in California. The hardcore legends will then head down under for an Australian tour in November.
The band’s current lineup includes frontman Muir joined by Ben Weinman, Dean Pleasants, Greyson Nekrutman, and Tye Trujillo. The bassist, who is the son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, joined the group in 2021 after initially filling for a 2019 festival date when he was just 14 years old.
Check out this fan-shot clip from earlier this year of the band performing “War Inside My Head,” which Tye’s father Robert originally recorded with the group in 1993.
