Back in the 80s and 90s, I nearly wore out my Eric Johnson albums, including Ah Via Musicom.
So it was cool to see this video pop up in the feed from an April 2023 performance at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.
Roscoe Beck, the bassist on the original recording of “Desert Rose,” has backed Johnson for years.
