Ashdown Introduces the RM-110 Bass Cabinet
Ashdown has introduced the RM-110 cabinet as the latest in their Rootmaster EVO II lineup. At 24 pounds, it also marks their smallest enclosure.
The cabinet features a single 10-inch speaker to deliver 250 watts at 8 ohms. Ashdown describes its tone as punchy, with lots of attack and low end.
“Tonally, the compact design maintains the low-end response with a more dynamic punchy mid-range,” they write. “The cab is front-ported and voiced to be heard in a live setting. The mid-range is so important to a bass player’s ability to cut through the mix.”
Other features include a lightweight ply construction, a Buffalo Tolex cover, and a black cloth grill. The Ashdown RM-110 will be shipping this month at a price of $249.99.
