It’s always a good day when a new Lake Street Dive video drops. Madison Cunningham joined the band for this re-imagined version of “Neighbor Song.”
“We first recorded ‘Neighbor Song’ in 2010, shortly after a few of us had moved to Brooklyn,” the band shared. “And now in 2023, we’ve re-recorded it in Brooklyn with Madison live in one room in a single take.”

I’d really like to know what sound effect was used on lead guitar. It was so appropriate to the lyrics; I really loved it. Sounded like a muted sitar…. I have no idea, but it was totally insane!!
