Paul Gilbert: Shredding on Double Bass
I don’t know how I missed this video back in February, but it is killer.
Paul Gilbert was promoting his The Dio Album, and he did so by shredding on the double bass.
Once he kicked on the distortion, things really fell into place.
(This reminds me of my high school days, where the orchestra director barely tolerated me playing the double bass using this technique.)
