Sean Fairchild Launches “Modern Bass Applications” Lesson Series
Although some extended techniques have been around for quite some time, the use of more intricate approaches has become more prevalent in modern music. That’s why bassist and educator Sean Fairchild has launched a new series of in-depth video lessons called “Modern Bass Applications.”
Fairchild, aka Combinator, has released the first of the series with “Beginner to Advanced Double Thumbing and Quad Slap Technique” featuring 45 minutes of instruction in an intimate, private lesson style format. The bassist begins with explaining the basic mechanics of the rest stroke-style slapping and extrapolates into more advanced thumb and multi-finger combinations to give you ultimate right hand control.
