Bass of the Week: Badstroke Guitars Sallos 4FF

Badstroke Guitars Sallos 4FF Bass

That’s no moon… It’s a bass guitar.

Badstroke Guitars used the force to create this killer Sallos 4FF bass with an incredible full-body custom inlay of the Death Star from Star Wars, complete with a laser inlay that fires across the fingerboard. As if that’s not enough, the entire display is glow-in-the-dark.

The bass was fully customized and has a super short multi-scale neck that runs from 26 inches to 28 inches. Its swamp ash body has a quilted maple top that holds the Death Star, making it look like the Empire’s evil base is actually in outer space. The back also has a battle scene between an X-Wing and a TIE fighter.

The neck is wenge and flame maple that’s fitted with an ebony fretboard. Other features include a BKP P Bass ’65 split coil pickup, Hipshot tuners, and an ABM single bridge system.
