Steve Lawson: “Anti Hero” (If Taylor Swift was a Solo Bassist)

My good friend Steve Lawson shared this video with us, saying, “This is the second half of the first track at my solo gig in Birmingham on Feb 23rd – a reinterpretation of Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti Hero’ – one of the truly great pop songs of the last decade or so. It’s always a joy to dig into a song that I love and see what other emotions can be uncovered in an instrumental, solo bass context, and this feels like a pretty successful journey.”
