Playing for Change Band: When the Levee Breaks (Live)
The Playing for Change Band took the stage at the Byron Bay Bluesfest and performed a remarkable cover of “When the Levee Breaks.”
“Adding to the magic is the extraordinary Mihirangi, who joins them on stage, infusing the song with her soulful vocals and the incomparable William Barton with the soothing sounds of the didgeridoo,” PFC shared.
The band includes Claire Finley on bass and vocals, Jason Tamba on acoustic guitar, Keiko Komaki on keyboards, Mermans Mosengo on vocals and harmonica, Mihirangi, Titi Tsira, and Tula Ben Ari on vocals, Peter Bunetta on drums, Roberto Luti and Robin Moxey on guitars, and William Barton on Didgeridoo.
This is the second time PFC shared a video of the tune. The last time featured the great John Paul Jones.
