Ashen Amps Unveils the APG700.4 Bass Amp

California-based Ashen Amps has announced a compact bass amp called the APG700.4. They say it was designed to deliver “pristine articulation and punch, catering to the discerning needs of professional bassists worldwide.”
“It’s designed to support low frequencies played with five-string bass, and you’ll feel it. The built-in Limiter is tuned to safeguard your woofers,” Ashen writes. “The amplifier features a high-quality power block designed for High-end professional audio systems. It is certified for use in the USA and Canada.”
Built in Ukraine, the Class D head delivers 350 watts at 8 ohms or 700 watts at 4 ohms. It has five controls – Presence, Blend, Treble, Bass, and Level – for dialing in your tone. Presence and Treble affect your top end, while Blend lets you mix in your unaffected signal for extra clarity. Finally, it has a front-facing XLR direct output.
Ashen Amps offers the APG700.4 in a standard metal enclosure for $899 or a custom-built wooden enclosure for $999.
