Metallica Extends M72 World Tour Into 2025
Metallica is extending its M72 World Tour into 2025 with a new set of North American dates. The 21 shows will spread out over April, May, and June to mark the third year of the record-breaking tour cycle.
The majority of the tour features two nights in a single city, though the new leg will feature several single shows with the band playing its massive in-the-round-stage.
Support for the tour will feature Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills on night one of each city, with Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies on night two. That means the tour will have a killer lineup of bassists: Robert Trujillo (Metallica), his son Tye Trujillo (Suicidal Tendencies), Rex Brown (Pantera), Sam Rivers (Limp Bizkit), and Joe Occhiuti (Ice Nine Kills).
