Boss Introduces the GX-10 Effects Processor
Boss has introduced the GX-10 Effects Processor, which combines the sound engine and color touch display from the GX-100 into a smaller unit. Designed for bass and guitar, the GX-10 has amp modelers and 170 effects to choose from, including overdrives, distortions, modulation, delays, and dedicated bass effects.
“The GX-10 enables fast sound creation with an inviting color touch display and four dynamic parameter knobs. Up to two amps and 15 effects are supported in each memory, and it’s easy to change effect order and create series or parallel routings by dragging blocks with a finger on the screen,” the company writes. “Send/return jacks are available to integrate favorite pedals or an amp’s effects loop into the GX-10 signal flow.”
Other features include 24-bit AD and 32-bit DA conversion, tube emulation with AIRD technology, IR capabilities, and a USB-C port for connecting to a computer or mobile device.
The Boss GX-10 is available this month for $399.99.
