ZZ Top Announces 2025 “The Elevation Tour” Dates
ZZ Top has unveiled a set of spring dates for “The Elevation Tour” that will take That Little Ol’ Band from Texas across the Southeast and Midwest United States. The trio, now anchored by bassist Elwood Francis, will begin March 5th in Dothan, Alabama.
The trek will loop down to Florida and back up to reach as far north as Michigan and Wisconsin. Its final date is scheduled for April 11th at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Francis joined ZZ Top in 2021, shortly after the death of longtime bassist Dusty Hill. He has humbly accepted the role by saying, “I shouldn’t be in the band. It’s Dusty’s thing. Sure, I’ll still play with them, but it’s a weird thing, man.” He’s also approached it with humor, playing with a bright yellow 17-string bass on occasion.
