Mery’s Key: Breadcrumbs

Mery’s Key is back with another new song. “Breadcrumbs” was recorded at Urban Recording Studio in Trieste, Italy, with the duo of Mery Bertòs and Kevin Reginald Cooke being joined by drummer Christian Leale.

“We’re an unlikely duo of female voice and bass guitar masquerading as pop music,” the band shares. “Imagine how Newton Faulkner brought alternative guitar playing styles into pop music, but with a bass guitar instead and a female singer in the vein of Natalie Imbruglia or Natasha Bedingfield.”

Cooke covers the bass line as well as the harmony with chords and harmonics.

The track is streaming on major platforms.
