Chief Adjuah and His Quartet (with Ryoma Takenaga) Deliver a Thrilling Performance at Ljubljana 2024
Trumpeter Chief Adjuah took the stage at Jazz Festival Ljubljana 2024 on July 10, 2024. Backed by a stellar quartet, Adjuah’s innovative sound captivated the crowd.
Bassist Ryoma Takenaga kicks things off to start the video, which features two tunes: “West of the West” and “Songs She Never Heard.” The quartet also includes Cecil Alexander on guitar and Ele Howell on drums.
Though I wasn’t familiar with Chief Adjuah before stumbling upon this video, I’m glad I did.
