“After graduating from ArtEZ Conservatory Zwolle in 2015 Ilse has built a nice career for herself as the bassist for the Cool Quest. She performed over 500 shows across 13 countries for the past 10 years. From Reeperbahn Festival (DE), MS Dockville (DE), Tallinn Music Week (EE), ESNS (NL) to Springbreak Festival (PL), as well as headline club tours. The Cool Quest is everywhere to hear in Europe, they won the Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Award for ‘Best Group,’ and secured sync placements, including EA Sports NHL19 with Goodlife and a Serious Request commercial featuring Runnin’.
“In addition to performing, Ilse’s works as a songwriter, arranger, and producer, contributing to The Cool Quest and creating music through her own company, SOUNDS LIKE DITTO, for clients such as PEC Zwolle, Keolis, and Landstede Hammers. She does different things such as playing bass and doing backing vocals for Mamma Mia! The Party, a musical and dining experience created by Björn Ulvaeus.
