Walrus Audio Debuts Canvas Rehearsal Pedal with Metronome, Bluetooth, and More

Walrus Audio’s Canvas pedal series has thus far been focused on direct boxes, tuners, and power supplies. However, they’ve released an innovative new model to the lineup called the Canvas Rehearsal that packs in handy features for practicing.
“Designed for musicians who use effect pedals, you can listen to your instrument through headphones, play with tracks via Bluetooth or 1/8” auxiliary input, and practice with a built-in metronome,” the company writes. “The Canvas Rehearsal is the perfect end-of-chain solution when your gig requires your practice to become perfection.”
An OLED screen gives you the readout of your BPM, time signature, beat division, and accent note. All of those can be set with a single “Screen Control” knob. You can also use the Tap button to set your tempo quickly.
Three smaller knobs give you level controls for your instrument input, the click, and your auxiliary signal before the main Headphone knob sets the overall output. Other features include Stereo I/O and MIDI capability.
The Walrus Audio Canvas Rehearsal is available now for $249.
