Fender Expands Player II Series with Limited Edition Sparkle Basses: Here’s What’s New

Fender has announced the Player II Limited Edition Sparkle lineup for 2025, which takes their Player II line and gives each model a special finish. The Sparkle Three-Coloured Sunburst will be available on the Player II Jazz Bass and the Player II Precision Bass.
“Step into the spotlight and experience iconic Fender sound and style with the Player II Limited Edition Sparkle—a stage-ready guitar with contemporary updates to power your performance and inspire your playing,” the company writes.
The limited edition basses will retain the features of the Player II series, including Modern “C” neck profiles, slab fingerboard with rolled edges, and Player Series pickups.
The Fender Limited Edition Player II Sparkle basses will be shipping in March for $899.99 each.
