This $548 Bass Guitar Nails the Vintage British Look: Meet the Rapier Symphonic

Rapier Guitars has added a few new models to their lineup for 2025 that throw things back to the first British-built guitars of the 1960s. Among those is the four-string Rapier Symphonic Bass, which will come in Firenza Red, Arctic White, and Metallic Silver.
The retro design is crafted with an okoume body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. It’s fitted with a pair of Alan Entwistle-designed Astro Sonic VX pickups controlled with independent volume knobs and a master tone. The old school aesthetic is set over the top with a thumb rest and a cover plate over the bridge pickup.
The Rapier Symphonic Bass Guitar will be shipping soon and will cost £429 (approximately $548 at press time).
