From Funk Sideman to Frontman: Lige Curry’s Solo Tour Rides With Parliament Funkadelic
George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic are getting ready to bring the funk to the masses on a spring tour of the U.S. Beginning on April 25th, the tour will focus on California before jumping to the East Coast in May and heading into the Midwest.
That means you can hear longtime P-Funk member Lige Curry dish out hits like “Give Up the Funk,” “(Not Just) Knee Deep,” “Flash Light,” and many more. However, the funk bass master will also fit a run of his own tour dates into the fold.
He’ll be bringing his Ligedelic band to the Loveland Ski Area and Boulder in Colorado for four shows on May 9th through the 11th.
