Stevie Wonder’s “Do I Do” Gets a Funky Bass Reboot from Lorenzo Feliciati

Whenever I receive an email from Lorenzo Feliciati, I know I’m about to hear something awesome. The bass maestro dropped me this clip of him jamming out on a great arrangement of Stevie Wonder’s “Do I Do” that gave me an immediate case of bass face.

The version of the song was arranged by top Italian producer and guitarist Marco Rinalduzzi and is performed by top musicians. Feliciati adds his own spice to the mix with a bubbling bass line that is somewhere between Nate Watts and Jaco Pastorius. He also takes a perfect little solo at the end of the track.
