Panda Audio Future Impact V4 – VIP Packs Full Synth Power into a Compact Pedal

Panda Audio has updated their flagship bass synth, the Future Impact, once again with the V4 – VIP edition. The latest iteration retains all the powerful features of the V4 while occupying a smaller footprint.

“With its pedalboard-friendly dimensions of 5”x3.25”x2.5” and weighing less than 12 oz, the VIP seamlessly integrates into any setup,” the company writes.

The pedal’s extensive sound set features synthesizer tones for bass lines, leads, and pads. It has a bevy of effects, including octave, chorus, flanger, phaser, distortion, wah-wah, tremolo, reverb, and more. It also has a built-in tuner.

“The very powerful signal processor of the Future Impact V4 is able to replicate the various oscillator, filter, amplifier and envelope generator blocks found in classic synthesizers,” Panda Audio continues. “In addition, it contains signal processing blocks more traditionally used for processing the sound of an instrument such as a harmonizer block and audio effects such as chorus, distortion and EQ. These architectures complement each other in a very flexible way.”

The Panda Audio Future Impact V4 – VIP edition is out now with a street price of around $449.
