Here’s one to check out. Hiromi’s Sonicwonder stopped by KEXP for a live session featuring Hadrien Feraud on bass, Adam O’Farrill on trumpet, and Gene Coye on drums.

Hadrien plays his Mayones bass here, bringing his fluid, melodic style to the set. He supports and pushes Hiromi’s explosive piano work while locking in with the rhythm section. The group’s interplay is tight and full of energy, with plenty for bassists to enjoy. From tasteful fills to impressive solo passages, there is a lot to take in.
