Fidelity’s Stellarosa Lite: A Vintage-Style, Lightweight Bass Made to Order

I love checking out new designs with a vintage style, and the retro vibes are heavy with this one. The Fidelity Guitars Stellarosa Lite Bass is a featherweight four-string with bespoke features. Each bass is handcrafted to order, even though it has shades of old-school factory instruments.
Fidelity describes the bass as “eminently chuckable” thanks to a lightweight Obeche body, which is fitted with a single pickup. As it’s made to order, the company offers options for your tonal variety.
“You’ve got a choice of two handwound Mojo Pickups; pick the Dyna Bass for warmer, deeper mids, or go with the custom Hi-Gain for more bite and clang,” they write. “Both come with our custom P90 surround as standard for an added touch of class.”
The Stellarosa Lite is available in eight finishes: Sonic Blue, Shell Pink, Surf Green, Gloss Black, “Blood Orange” Burst (Oxblood into Orange), Burgundy Mist metallic, Torino Red, and Olympic White. The maple neck can be plain, roasted, or roasted flame maple, all of which are fitted with a wenge fingerboard. The fingerboard has a compound radius for playing ease, and Fidelity builds the bass with either 33.25-inch or 30.75-inch scales. Finally, a funky pickguard flanks the pickup for protection and style.
