Crowbar Reunites with Pat Bruders for 2025 Tour: “It’s An Honor”

Sludge metal masters Crowbar have announced that bassist Shane Wesley won’t be with them on their upcoming tour, due to his commitments with Acid Bath. However, a familiar face will be in their ranks.
Down and former Crowbar bassist Pat Bruders will be anchoring the group during Wesley’s time off. Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein said, “We will miss Shane, but we are excited to reunite with Pat for these shows! This tour and the Halloween cruise [Headbanger’s Boat] are gonna be a blast! Don’t miss it!”
Bruders shared his own thoughts.
“I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to my brother Kirk, and my brothers in Crowbar for giving me the opportunity to step in and play again with them in place of Shane Wesley of whom I have nothing but the deepest love and respect for,” he stated. “He’s so very talented and a great person, and I’m gonna do my best job on his behalf for the August run with our brothers in Eyehategod, and the upcoming Halloween Headbangers Boat cruise in October. I hope everyone comes out to support and celebrate with us for a great, exciting, and super kickass time! Be there! Bring it!”
Bruders was a member of Crowbar from 2005 to 2013, performing on the 2011 album Sever the Wicked Hand. He left to focus on Down, which also features Windstein’s guitar work. He will join Crowbar at their next performance on August 7th in Winter Park, Florida, marking the start of a co-headlining tour with Eyehategod. See below for the full tour dates.
