Limited-Edition Jackson CB1A Bass Joins the Pure Metal Series with Fishman Fluence Punch

Jackson is now shipping the Pro Plus Pure Metal Series, a limited edition lineup that they say is “built to crush stages and shred without mercy.” Each of the three models features jumbo stainless steel frets, Fishman Fluence Modern humbucking bridge pickup, and an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius. That includes the lone bass model in the series: the Jackson Pro Plus Limited Edition Pure Metal Concert Bass CB1A.
The CB1A is built with a creme-bound poplar body and a three-piece maple neck. The fretboard holds 24 frets that are marked by the company’s signature sharkfin inlays with Luminlay side-dots. Jackson says the Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker offers superior note definition with plenty of low end.
“Shape your sonic assault with the push/pull master volume that splits the humbucker into a single-coil configuration for vintage-style clarity and bite,” they write. “The 2-band stacked EQ with concentric knobs gives you precise control over your bass and treble frequencies, while the 3-way mini toggle unleashes three distinct Fishman voices – from modern aggressive punch to vintage warmth and everything in between.”
The Jackson Pro Plus Limited Edition Pure Metal Concert Bass CB1A is available now for $1,579.
