Trickfish Amplification Bullhead Mini 500C Combo

Trickfish Amplification has announced a new model called the Bullhead Mini 500C Combo, which is a compact amp weighing in at just 23.5 pounds. Trickfish says the amp is suited for either electric or upright bass and delivers 250 watts of power on its own. With an 8-ohm extension cabinet, it can pump up to 500 watts.

“The Bullhead Mini 500C combines the complete feature set and robust power section of the Bullhead Mini 500 amplifier with the punch, depth, and clarity of the new L112 Mini cabinet, creating a grab-and-go solution for players who refuse to sacrifice performance for convenience,” the company states.

The combo amp is fitted with a Mike Pope-designed preamp and a fixed four-band EQ. For drivers, it features a 12-inch Lavoce driver and a tweeter, controlled by a three-way switch for adjusting the high-end response. Trickfish builds the enclosure with Italian Poplar and a Baltic Birch baffle. Other features include an aux input, a headphone output, a DI, an effects loop, and a mute switch.

The Trickfish Amplification Bullhead Mini 500C Combo is available now direct for $1,799.
