Isaiah Sharkey Delivers Soulful Fusion on Reverb Sessions

Isaiah Sharkey stopped by Reverb Sessions for a powerful live performance that shows why he is one of the most versatile players on the scene. Blending jazz, R&B, gospel, rock, and funk, Sharkey delivers a set that is both technically masterful and deeply soulful.

The rhythm section shines throughout. Maurice Fitzgerald on bass drives the performance with a 5-string Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass, locking in tight with the drums and giving Sharkey a solid foundation to build on. The tone is warm, punchy, and perfectly matched to the music.

Gear fans will notice Sharkey playing a Crews Maniac Sound guitar, a Japanese-made instrument that has the feel of a Tele but with Sharkey’s own touch and voice shining through. The combination makes for a tone that has already sparked conversation online.

This session is a reminder of Sharkey’s gift for crossing styles while always keeping the groove and emotion at the center.
