Nile Welcomes Adam Roethlisberger as Bassist/Vocalist: “The Energy Has Never Been Stronger”

Nile 2025

Nearly a month after the departure of Dan Vadim Von, Nile has a new bassist and vocalist. The veteran death metal outfit has announced that Adam Roethlisberger has joined their ranks.

“We’re proud to announce that Adam Roethlisberger has joined Nile on bass and vocals,” the band wrote on Facebook. “Fans of his work already know the power and precision he brings, and he’s proven to be the perfect fit for our band. The energy has never been stronger, we’re playing and sounding tighter than ever! Come witness it for yourself on the current tour.”

The bassist also shared his own statement on Instagram, writing, “What an honor it is to play with the legends. Nile has carved a path so deep in the extreme metal world and I’m proud to do my part to help elevate this band to new heights.”

Roethlisberger co-founded Vitriol and left their lineup last year. He has already made his live debut with the group at the tour’s opening show on September 12th in Raleigh, North Carolina, which you can see in this fan-shot clip.

Nile is currently on the road for “The Underground Awaits” Tour, which has support from Cryptopsy, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Cognitive. See below for the full schedule.
