King Crimson Classic Reborn: BEAT Drops Live Video for “Thela Hun Ginjeet” – Tony Levin

BEAT has dropped a new live video and it rips. The band includes Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Tony Levin and Danny Carey taking on the King Crimson classic “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and it’s every bit as wild and locked in as you’d hope.

Levin drives the chaos with his unmistakable groove playing both synth and his signature Music Man bass. Carey lays down a heavy, relentless groove behind the kit while Vai and Belew weave in and out of the rhythmic frenzy trading lines and textures like only they can. It’s raw, tight and completely alive.

“Thela Hun Ginjeet” is part of BEAT’s upcoming album LIVE which arrives September 26 on InsideOut Music. The video is up now on YouTube and the track is streaming everywhere.
