Wood Guerilla’s TULIPbass Shines in Teodoras Balčiauskis’s “Dark Nebula” Performance

Corey recently sent me a clip of Teodoras Balčiauskis playing a solo piece, and I was knocked out by the musicality as well as the instrument itself. This Wood Guerilla TULIPbass features a poplar body with a semi-hollow design and unique sound hole. It has a maple and mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets.
Wood Guerilla fit the bass with SBS humbuckers and a Kurandt preamp. Other features include Hipshot tuners, a Schmitt bridge, and a 35-inch scale.
