Aguilar Unveils Ultra-Rare DB 751 LTD Black Bass Amp (Only 5 Made)

Aguilar DB 751 LTD Black Angle

Aguilar Amplification got in on the Black Friday madness this year by introducing a limited edition of their DB 751 bass amp. The DB 751 LTD Black is the first time their flagship head has gotten the limited-edition treatment. It’s a rare occasion and a rare amp, as they’ve only produced five.

“This is the legendary DB 751 tone you know: massive headroom, tube-driven punch, and stage-dominating authority,” Aguilar writes. “But this run brings a look we’ve never done before—a fully blacked-out chassis with striking red LEDs that ignite when powered on. Sleek. Modern. Unmistakable. This drop will never be repeated. Once these five amps are gone, they’re gone for good!”

The DB 751 LTD Black puts out 750 watts at 4 ohms, but can push up to 975 watts at 2 ohms. Its tube-driven preamp features three 12AX7s, while the power section has 12 complementary lateral MOSFETs. The EQ section includes Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs with Bright and Deep switches for more general shaping. It has a front-mounted effects loop with two knobs: a send with push/pull for line or instrument level, and return with push/pull for parallel or series operation. The amp has two Neutrik Speakon speaker outputs as well as a Jensen XLR balanced output.

The Aguilar Amplification DB 751 LTD Black is available now for $3,499.99.

Why is AGUILAR bothering to make 5 limited edition black DB751s?
That’s like the ultimate teaser to perspective buyers. I personally have an AG700LTD in Firehouse red but I’m sure AGUILAR made more than 5.
