Cody Wright Dials In the Groove on a 1962 Precision Bass at Norman’s Rare Guitars

Cody Wright hangs at Norman’s Rare Guitars and plugs into a vintage Fender Precision Bass from the early sixties.  Just a great bass in a great room.

He puts the bass to work with a solid groove and Cody is one of the few who can really make a bass sing. Solid time.  That familiar P Bass sound that somehow still feels right no matter what decade you are in. I have recently been saying that the “P” Bass is the most versatile bass because it fits with everything.   It is simple and it works. A classic Precision Bass. A good player. And a reminder that this sound has not gone anywhere.
