Teddy Swims Joins Tedeschi Trucks Band, with Bassist Brandon Boone Powering a “Feelin’ Alright” Tribute to Joe Cocker at the Rock Hall

We have already shared a few Tedeschi Trucks Band moments from the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony and this one fits right in.

For this performance the band brought out Teddy Swims for a loose soulful run through Joe Cocker’s “Feelin Alright”. The Tedeschi Trucks Band settle in behind him and let the song do the work.  On the bass side Brandon Boone keeps it solid. He is playing his vintage red Fender Precision Bass into his Ampeg rig and it sounds exactly like you would hope. Big warm low end clear notes, its why the P fits with everything.

It is a great reminder that sometimes the best bass moments are the ones that just make the whole band feel better.
