This one is about as stripped down as it gets. Just two basses and two players. In Epilogue, Janek Gwizdala and Daniele Camarda just sit in the moment and have a musical conversation.
The black and white video helps set the tone, it feels focused. It is all about listening and trusting the other person to take it somewhere interesting. This performance weaves textures and lead lines, trading solos and creating a vibe.
Epilogue closes out their album Seminaro, recorded in Barcelona in spring 2025, and it feels like the right ending. For bass players, this is a great reminder that you do not need much to make something feel good. Sometimes two basses and a good hang are more than enough.
