Spector Expands Signature Line at NAMM 2026 with New Doug Wimbish and Frank Bello Finishes
Spector had plenty to show at the 2026 NAMM Show, including new finishes for two of their signature basses. The Doug Wimbish Euro 4, modeled after his 1987 NS-2, will now be available in an Aged White finish with gold hardware. Similarly, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello‘s NC-4 will now be available in Black Sapphire.
The Spector Doug Wimbish Euro 4 Aged White Signature Bass is crafted with maple body wings attached to the maple neck, which has Wimbish’s unique slim neck carve. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl crown inlays, EMG Jazz pickups, and Spector’s Legacy onboard preamp. $3,699.99
“This bass is a piece of my history. The original 1987 Spector that helped shape my sound—now ready for the next generation,” Wimbish says.
Bello’s new signature retains the design, feel, and performance of the NC-4, which was debuted at NAMM last year in a custom purple finish. That includes an alder body with refined contours, a one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, and Bello’s signature EMG P/J set.
“I’ve had my Spector bass out on tour and in the studio for the past year, and it’s gone above and beyond my expectations—whether on the biggest stages or in the studio,” says Bello. “I’m thrilled to introduce the new Sapphire Black version for all the players who’ve been asking for it. The Spector Doug Wimbish Euro 4 and Frank Bello NC-4 carry prices of $3,699 and $1,499, respectively.
