Anthrax Bassist Frank Bello Gets Signature Hybrid Nickel Strings with Dunlop

Anthrax bassist Frank Bello and Dunlop have teamed up to introduce the Frank Bello Hybrid Nickel Wound bass strings, which capture the bassist’s signature sound. They were designed to add definition to the low end and make the bass cut through a dense mix.
“We took the 105 and 85 gauges from our Dual Dynamic Hybrid Nickel Wound Bass Strings, which feature a nickel outer layer and an inner steel layer for the perfect balance of clarity and punch across the lower register,” Dunlop writes. “To keep the higher register thick and round, we used the 65 and 45 strings in our Standard Nickel Wound Bass line. The resulting set offers clarity, punch, and a fat bottom no matter where you land.”
The Dunlop Frank Bello Hybrid Wound Nickel Bass Strings carry a street price of $31.50.
